ONLINE MIXING & MUSIC PRODUCTION
behind the console:
meet richard maloney
If you’re looking for quality production and mixing, Richard Maloney is the real deal. He came up in the New Orleans, Dallas and Miami music scenes as a drummer, audio engineer and producer.
After making two albums with his bands Section 8 and Kinetic Output, he caught the production bug and went to work behind the console.
Richard has produced, recorded and mixed rock, reggae, blues, electronic and jazz albums for release online as well as in CD and vinyl formats.
“It’s not about money or fame,” says Richard from his home near the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. “It’s about the art of making quality music that will live on past all of us.”

Testimonials
“Our debut album ‘Such is Life’ reached top 5 on Billboard reggae charts. Highly recommend RPM72 to any band/artist who wants to take their songs to the next level.”
jake dorris, sowflo
“I recently listened to ‘Life is not a Football’ which I recorded with Richard in 2014-15… the record sounds better today than it did when it came out which to me is a testament of making good art. He lets us do whatever idea comes to us and yet maintains a vision of what he thinks the record should sound like.”
mike dillon, the mike dillon band, Punkadelic, Les Claypool’s Flying Frog brigade
“Very professional and easy to work with. Great mixes! The results speak for themselves.”
